Skinners Field & Trial Hypoallergenic Adult Dry Dog Food - Duck & Rice
Product details
Skinners Field & Trial Hypoallergenic Duck & Rice is a hypoallergenic food designed to reduce your dog’s contact with ingredients that are a common cause of irritation.
How it works
This product is a complete food designed specifically to control your dog’s allergies. Free from wheat gluten, maize gluten, soya, dairy and barley, this formula cuts out the most common causes of ingredient intolerances in dogs.
When your dog has an ingredient allergy, it means that their digestive system struggles to break down that ingredient. In place of chicken – which dogs with allergies can be sensitive too – this food is made with British duck meat, a single source of protein that’s easier on the digestive tract.
As well as cutting out allergens, this formula is packed full of nutrients to repair and protect your dog after an allergic reaction. Essential minerals and carbohydrates from rice, oats and vegetables help to give your pet an energy boost. Intolerances can cause your dog’s skin to become itchy and their coat dull. This dry food is coated in sunflower oil to help maintain a glossy coat and reduce rashes.
This formula is enriched with glucosamine and chondroitin to protect their joints. It provides a complex of nutrients and vitamins to support and protect your dog from illness caused by intolerance.

When to use it
If your dog is allergic to an ingredient in their food it can negatively impact on their quality of life. They can become lethargic, unwilling to eat and could even suffer a serious gastrointestinal disorder.
If you think your dog is having an allergic reaction there are a few symptoms you can look out for. Vomiting, diarrhoea, fever and a rash are all common signs of intolerance. You should seek veterinary advice as soon as you notice any of these symptoms. Your vet will be able to give you a full diagnosis and help with treatment.

Amazing food!My lab is nearly 5 and has had skinners food since he was a pup. I wouldn't ever feed him anything else.
-
Joint aid field and trialMy English spaniel has been fed on skinners, only the second time on joint aid formula, all of his 6yrs, mix it with a little wet meat, never had an issue with him, always extremely active, never runs out of steam unfortunately.

Great cheaper alternativeI’d been feeding my fussy greyhound James Wellbeloved Duck but decided to give this a try and haven’t gone back. Her coat is gleaming and she’s a picture of health. I’ve even seen an improvement in her arthritis since switching. Delighted, especially as it’s half the price!

SkinnersThe only dog food I've found that doesn't make Eddie's skin flare up.
