Worth every pennyProbably bought furminator for short haired dog, but never really did the job. So invested in the long hair version. Brilliant, keeps my pooch who appears so much more content looking smart and no loose hair floating around.

Great for shelties!Bought this a few weeks ago. Our Callie is half a dog lighter. Gets right into the coat and the matting problems around her ears and back legs are much easier to control.

Much better than a brushWe have a couple of collies who have thick under coats and at this time of year they usually take a lot of brushing to loose it. Of which they have never been keen. But they absolutely love the FURminator and now come and sit ready for a ‘defur’. It strips the undercoat and leaves the top coat in place - perfect for summer. All brushes are now ‘recycled’

Brilliant toolI purchased this for use on my long hair cat. Soooo much hair came out on the first use, I was worried it might be too large for a cat as this one is marketed for a dog, but the cat one is very tiny.
