How it works
Consisting of small clay granules, Catsan litter forms into small firm clumps when any moisture touches the granules. The clumps can then be removed from the tray easily, leaving only the clean cat litter behind. Clay litter won’t get stuck on your cat’s paws and spread around the house, either.

When to use it
Cat’s like to have clean, familiar places to go to the toilet in. Fill the tray with Catsan Ultra Clumping litter to around 5cm high and place the tray in its usual spot. Some cats will take longer to get used to new litter than others.

Great for me and great for my humansAlways lovely and dry and non-smelly - I can dig it easily and sit with a faraway look for ages. And my humans seem very pleased when they come to flush it for me - can easily lift out really neat little doughnuts with a slotted scoop, with no need to replace the whole lot, eve, so it’s really economical. Purrfect all round.

goes to landfill, but for my old cat it works bestIn the future I will train any new kittens and amenable cats to use more earth-friendly litter, so I would not recommend this for young cats. But for my senior female cat who is very picky about where she takes care of her needs and is used to this type of litter, and who has early stage kidney issues so has very strong urine, this is the best litter I can find. She does track it around the house as it is fine, but at least it absorbs and clumps quickly, has no horrible fake-smelling fragrance that rather than masks odors just combines with them, and if she actually does manage to cover her solid output after all the scratching and flinging about of litter, it does seem to keep smells down.

Best litter out thereFantastic for keeping smells at bay and easy to clean, wouldn't use anything else. But, please do your research before you buy so that you use it properly. I have read bad reviews from people that are using it incorrectly. This unlike normal cat litter and should mot be used for kittens as they tend to eat litter and will cause intestinal blockages. Do your homework as I have done.
