Capstar Flea Tablets for Large Dogs
Capstar Flea Tablets get to work in 15 minutes, killing fleas on dogs.
How it works
A quick treatment, these tablets are orally administered to remove the infestation of fleas, rather than act as a preventative treatment. Using Capstar means that fleas will fall of your pet immediately. The tablets kill up to 100% of fleas and there’s no need to flea comb or rinse your pets coat. The treatment is easy to use, simply give the tablet to your pet directly or mix with their favourite food.
- orally administered treatment
- fleas begin to be killed after just 15 minutes
- 100% of fleas removed from pet in 24 hours
- safe to give more than one treatment, but not on the same day
- suitable for dogs 4 weeks old and above
When to use it
If your pet seems to be scratching, grooming, or has red patches of skin, they could have fleas. If you part their fur and see small dark specks, this could also be a sign that they’ve picked up a flea infestation. Use a preventative Spot On Treatment
Fleas can be really irritating for your pet, but they’re more than happy to bite humans too. It’s important to treat a flea problem on your cat or dog as soon as possible, otherwise they could spread to your home. The majority of fleas live in your home. To prevent another flea outbreak, you should treat your home too.

Overall very goodMy 8 year old lurcher (long hair) has suffered with fleas most of the summer. The usual 'back of the neck treatments' did not work. This product worked and it can be taken along side other flea treatments.
Effective treatmentWorks quickly and is effective at getting rid of fleas. However the problem with fleas is that they live in the dog's bedding and carpets (and it's really difficult to illuminate them entirely) so he can easily get reinfected and then needs treating again so it starts to get expensive! I would recommend the tablets. We found the flea collar we bought virtually useless. Some sprays are ok so too are shampoos. If your dog has fleas expect to treat and then retreat your pet!
