Trixie LED pointer Catch the Light Yellow
Keep your cat occupied for hours on a rainy day with the handy Trixie LED 'catch the light' pointer in yellow.
How it works
Cats are drawn to fast-moving, bright objects, and this LED pointer has been designed to keep them amused for hours. The toy projects the shape of a fish in LED lights onto any flat surface in your home, which you can then move around to entice your cat to play.
The toy has a life of around 100 hours and can be easily attached to your keyring so you can entertain your pet at any moment. This pointer is also useful as a training aid, helping your pet to make the association between good behaviour and playtime.
- lightweight and portable
- can be attached to a keyring
- LED won't damage your cat's eyes
- sturdy plastic and aluminium casing
- 100 hour lifespan
- perfect for indoor cats
When to use it
House cats tend to need more stimulation than those who can roam outdoors to prevent them from getting bored and lethargic, which can lead to mopey behaviour and weight gain. This toy is perfect for getting them up and about and keeping them interested. It helps to encourage strong muscle development, problem-solving skills and stalking. This kind of mental and physical exercise is key to your cat's happy, healthy lifestyle.
If you're planning to use this toy to train your cat in hunting techniques, it's always best to start early. Kittens pick up on new tricks much more easily than older cats. You can use this pointer in tandem with treats during playtime to reward good behaviour.

Good little toyI bought 2 of these, one for my cat & one for my mothers cat. My cat runs after it for a few minutes and gives up, but my mothers cat is a bit more active & loves it. It works well in the dark or if you shine it on a dark carpet, but is difficult to see during the day, but I don't mind that as its safer than a laser pen.
My cat loves it!Bought this as a cheap add on to my order and has been a hit for my cat- her new favourite toy! She hears the jangle of the keyring when you pick it up and jumps up to play. For the lazier owners out there, this means you can play from the sofa without getting up! If it's bright daylight it doesn't show that clearly to me but my cat seems to still see it most of the time, however I read that these can be safer for the cats eyes than the lazer point type ones, so I presume this is why.
