Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal is designed to be delicious enough to tempt even the fussiest of eaters and help restore the loss of appetite that often accompanies digestive disorders. It also contains EPA and DHA to promote your cat's overall wellbeing.
Key benefits
- easily digestible and gentle on your cat's stomach
- specially formulated to reduce symptoms of digestive disorders and promote speedy recovery
- contains EPA and DHA to promote overall health and well being.
- comes in range of delicious flavours to restore appetite and tempt fussy eaters.
When to use it
Digestive disorders are relatively common in all cats. Just like people, cats of any age can suffer from allergies, intolerances and sensitivities to different foods. These can cause discomfort, pain and prevent them from getting the nutrition they need for a healthy life. Symptoms of digestive disorders include lack of energy or difficulty healing, vomiting, gas, weakness, constipation or regurgitation. A key sign to look out for is soft stools and diarrhoea, which can lead to serious side effects like dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
Should you notice any of these symptoms, speak to your vet as soon as possible; they will be able to offer a diagnosis and suitable treatment.
Your vet may recommend Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal if your cat is displaying one or more of these symptoms and will be able to advise on feeding requirements and the length of the treatment.
Because veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of pets with specific clinical conditions, we recommend that you only use them under professional advice. For more information on feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Gastro Intestinal to your cat, please consult your veterinary surgeon.
It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. Feed Gastro Intestinal for 1 to 2 weeks during periods of recovery from acute diarrhoea until resolved.

Really helped my 14 years old catWas recommended this product by my vet for my cat who for the last year has been suffering from upset tummy and weight loss. After numerous blood tests... all normal, she was diagnosed with IBD and IBS. With a combination of steroid injection and the new food, she is finally putting on a bit of weight and her tummy isn’t cured but better.
