Product details

Royal Canin Feline Sterilised 12+ helps neutered cats over 12 months old maintain a healthy weight.

How it works

Carefully blended to make sure your sterilised pet gets the nutrients they need without gaining additional weight, this food has a balanced fat content. Animal proteins are complemented with maize flour, vegetable fibres and chicory pulp to aid digestion. There's also a powerful complex of antioxidants, including green tea and grape polyphenols, which helps to keep cell-damaging free radicals to a minimum.

This food also works to boost kidney health thanks to the high phosphorous content in the recipe, while essential fatty acids keep your pet's coat and skin in great condition.

Key benefits

  • boosts kidney health
  • high in antioxidants
  • contains essential fatty acids for skin and coat health
  • chicory pulp and vegetable fibres aid digestion
  • balanced fat content to reduce weight gain
  • specially formulated for neutered cats over 12 months old

When to use it

Getting your cat sterilised can be beneficial in a few different ways. It can help to keep them closer to home, as they're less likely to wander. It also makes them much less territorial, and therefore less likely to fight with other cats in your neighbourhood.

While there are minimal side effects to neutering, one potential problem is weight gain. This is because they lose some hormone production as a result. This can be easily countered using this specialist diet, because it's lower in fat than normal cat food. It also has everything your pet needs to stay fit, healthy and active. If you’re considering having your cat neutered, make sure to consult your vet for advice and guidance.

  • Great
My two cats love this food and since they have been having it I have noticed the condition of their coat is a lot better. My cats can recommend this food and the service and price of pet-supermarket

  • the product description is ridiculous
My 13 y/o boys like the food, but the product description that this food is for recently neutered cats made us laugh out loud! It is 12 year +, not 12 weeks!

  • Excellent Food
I have a elderly cat and this is her favourite. Have been using it for a few years now. Know it contains the correct ingredients for the health of my cat.

  • Swapped to this from Ageing 12 as the younger cats kept eating all the other. Not only is my 14 yr old queen more sprightly and back chasing laser pointers again, she has also lost quite a lot of weight and is looking very trim and healthy. My 14 yr old tom also seems to be thriving on it althoug
