Product details

This Purina Pro Plan dog large adult athletic with sensitive skin with Optiderma rich in salmon dry food can help to soothe your dog's skin inflammation.

How it works

This food contains a number of ingredients that can help to reduce and soothe sensitive skin in adult, athletic dogs like yours. Salmon is used as a protein source because it's less likely to cause skin inflammation, while still providing your pet with all the goodness they need.
Additionally, the food doesn't contain any wheat gluten, which can sometimes be the cause of sensitive or irritated skin. The Optiderma blend is fortified with ingredients that bolster your pooch's skin health and give them all the key nutrition they need for an active lifestyle.

Key benefits

  • salmon protein helps to reduce skin irritation
  • no wheat gluten
  • Optiderma nutrient mix designed especially for sensitive skin
  • clinically proven to help keep your dog's skin healthy.

When to use it

Dogs can suffer from skin sensitivity just like humans. Much like with us, food can sometime be the cause of skin problems, especially certain protein groups. There are a few signs to watch out for. If your pet's scratching more than normal, have a look and see if the area that's itching is red or inflamed. If there are a few patches of red or irritated skin, then it's advisable to see your vet and get them checked. Having sensitive skin can be treated, and won’t affect your best friend's quality of life. Simply give them this recipe as a replacement to their normal diet at mealtimes. For fussy eaters, introduce it gradually to get them used to the change.

Always consult your vet before changing what your pet eats.
