Product details

Purina Pro Plan Dog Large Adult Robust with OPTIBALANCE rich in chicken dry food is a complete food for large breed, adult dogs with active lifestyles.

How it works

Purina Pro Plan with OptiBALANCE is specifically formulated with key ingredients to keep larger breed adult dogs happy and healthy. Its combination of vitamins, proteins and fibres is designed to support active puppies throughout adulthood.

Made with completely natural ingredients, it doesn't include the common culprits of allergies so is ideal for dogs that are prone to stomach upset. This dry food mix uses high-quality chicken pieces as its main ingredient, giving your pet a healthy dose of protein. Protein is essential for animals that are always on the go to keep their energy levels up.

Added vitamins help to support joints and keep your pet's coat glossy and healthy. Prebiotics and fibres promote good digestive function so your dog can easily absorb all of the nutrients in their food. This feed is also packed full of anti-oxidants to help fight illness in older age.

Key benefits

  • specifically selected ingredients to support large breed, adult dogs with an active lifestyle
  • formulated with natural ingredients
  • key nutrients support joints
  • protein rich formula using high-quality chicken pieces
  • prebiotics and fibres promote healthy digestion
  • anti-oxidants help fight illness
  • added vitamins for a glossy coat and dental health.

When to use it

This rich in chicken dry food can replace your dog's regular food. It's designed to be an everyday feed with added vitamins. Always read the feeding guide first to make sure you're giving your pet the right amount of food for their breed, weight and age. If you notice your pet is putting on weight, reduce their feeding amount slightly.

Dry food is a good option for dogs with poor dental health. The shape of kibble chunks helps to clean your dog's teeth as they eat, and OPTIBALANCE also includes added calcium to keep teeth strong and healthy.

  • Proplan
Have fed our Golden Retriever on the various grades of Proplan since she was a puppy. She has no problems with Proplan and her dish is cleared at each meal and has no diet problems.

  • Very happy
I have ordered both pro plan and royal canin and both are really good and my dogs love them both although my german shephard does seem to prefer pro plan robust at the minute. As for petsupermarket i cant fault them prices good offers excellent and delivery is always on time. Brilliant
