Program is for the prevention and lasting control of flea infestations. It is available as an easy to give suspension. Program works by preventing flea eggs from developing and hatching. This breaks the life cycle and prevents a flea infestation in your home.

Each female flea lays around 200 eggs in her short life, which fall off your pet and into your home. These eggs develop into larvae and then pupae, before hatching into adult fleas ready to jump onto your pet. This means that any adult fleas you see on your pet are only 5% of the problem – 95% of any flea infestation lurks hidden in the home.

Fleas are a problem all year round, so the only practical way to look after the health of your pet and family is through a regular, on-going flea treatment regime.

If fleas are visible on your pet, you should use a fast-acting adulticide such as Capstar to kill the adults, followed by Program to break the life-cycle and prevent further infestations.

  • Happy cat
    Switched to programme flea control 3 years ago after fleas seemed to be annoying my cat although I was useing another well known flea control . have had no trouble since the switch & my cat is better eating the dose rather than having it on her neck which seemed to irritate her at times . So far so good ready to enjoy another flea free summer .

  • Due to my cats being not very friendly when applying spot on products I was having problems with fleas but since using program since early 2013 I av not had a problem since, so easy to administer and reasonably priced! I dreaded that time of month when it was spot on time but now no stress at all, I'm very happy with this product and my cats are no longer stressed and flea free all year round.
