When to use it
Plaque forms on teeth just hours after eating and not only causes terrible breath, but also quickly becomes a breeding ground for germs. When it mixes with the salt in your dog or cat’s saliva, it hardens into tartar – becoming even harder to remove – and pushes up the gums, exposing the root of the tooth. This makes your pet’s teeth very sensitive and can cause them significant pain.

Brilliant stuff!Persevere with this and you will see good results over time....Fresher breath is the first noticeable point, which in itself is an indication of less build up of plaque...I first used this on my labrador cross breed about 5 years ago and he never needed any treatment on his teeth, they looked perfect until he passed at the age of 15....Now our Staffordshire bull terrier and French bull dog (puppy) are on this....Just started using very small amount for the puppy as her adult teeth are coming through, we got our staff when she was 7 years old and have noticed a vast improvement on her teeth over the past year....I highly recommend this, it doesn't upset their tummies and I sprinkle this on their breakfast only...At night they have a dentist stick, but I found using them alone was not good enough and didn't cure their stinky breath....I highly recommend Proden plaqueOff powder and it lasts ages...Well worth the investment

This really worksI decided to try this product as my 10 yr old rescue dog’s teeth and breath were awful. Much to my amazement after about 4 weeks the teeth have improved drastically and her breath is so much better. I don’t normally write reviews but this product actually does work. I wish i’de taken before and after photos.

Breath improved not sure about plaqueSo I have only tried it for about 3 weeks but it has definitely helped with the smell coming from my dogs mouth. I can't say much about the plaque build up, I'll give it a bit more time to judge. I will also mention the product although may seem expensive goes a long way, the scoop inside is only a tiny amount that you need to add to the dogs food each day, so it will last ages.

No real improvementEasy enough to use but I haven't seen any improvement in my boxer's teeth in the past 3 months. A recent check-up with the vet confirmed tartar build up that will eventually need removing. Probably won't buy again.

Good resultsWas advised by my vet to get this product for my greyhound, who have a reputation for bad teeth. It works a great along did daily brushing.
