Product details

ApplawsxNatures Calling Cat Litter offers incredibly effective odour control that’s not only fast clumping and low maintenance but also 100% natural and bio-degradable.

How it works

This Applaws cat litter is made from the re-claimed lining of a walnut shell. The fibrous material effectively absorbs and neutralises odour and the litter clumps within 15 minutes of being in contact with liquid. Virtually dust free, the litter doesn’t stick to your cat’s paws and the clumps of litter can safely be flushed down the toilet (check with your water provider first).

Key benefits:

  • low maintenance litter
  • effective odour control
  • 100% natural and bio-degradable
  • effective at absorbing and neutralising ammonia
  • made with annually renewable sources
  • fast clumping
  • absorbs and neutralises ammonia

When to use it

Cats are private creatures, so be sure to place their litter tray in a quiet, familiar spot to discourage accidents. To use this litter, simply fill your cat's clean litter box up to five centimetres deep and encourage your cat to use it with positive reinforcement.

Clumps and other solid waste should be removed daily to keep your cat's bathroom area clean and usable. The clumps can be easily flushed down the toilet, as the litter is 100% biodegradable.

  • The one my cat would choose !!!
This is the very best of the best cat litter products that I have ever found and my cat is very happy with this. No mess, no nasty odour. Easy to clean used and soiled litter from his litter box. Can be safely put into compost bin and utilise it that way so good for recycling too !!

  • Pretty great
Having had cats for many years, this one is a really good deal. It controls odours well, you might smell something for a few minutes after the deed but then the litter covers it. No harsh chemicals that could harm the cat and it is biodegradable. It clumps great, you won't have any trouble with daily scooping. Our kitten has taken to it immediately, he had crystals before. Paired with a good box you shouldn't have too much of a mess at the exit and it doesn't track. Even on a small budget, I would recommend it as it lasts quite a long time, about 6 weeks & with only a refill every 2 weeks for 1 cat. I will remove half a star as I still think brilliant litter should cost less than a tenner.

  • Perfect
Does the job well, I just scoop out the offensive matter then top up with a cupful of new litter. You only need to change the whole tray of litter about once a month so it is very economical
