How do Defurr-UM Treats work?
These tasty, easy to administer treats, contain the same active ingredients as traditional hairball pastes. As cats and kittens groom themselves, they pull loose hair from their coats, which is swallowed and accumulates in their stomach. This accumulation forms what is know as a hairball. Signs of hairball are constipation, gagging, coughing and vomiting. Regular use of Defurr-UM Treats, in combination with frequent grooming, can prevent the formation of hairballs.

We were recommended these by a friend who also needed to feed their cat pills twice a day, simply squash it into the side and our cat grabs at the treat. We no longer have to worry bout her not getting her pills on time or if someone else needs to feed her.Bonus that its also good for hair balls :)

One of my kitties is a heavy groomer and she had been having furballs at least once a week. Since she has started having these treats her vomiting of furballs has been dramatically reduced. She also loves the taste of the and eats them readily (as does her greedy brother who never grooms himself). Recommended.
