Kokoba Slow Feed Non-Slip Pet Bowl - Stainless Steel
Encourage your pet to eat their dinner at a leisurely pace with the Kokoba Antiskid Eat Slow Bowl.
How it works
This specially designed bowl features a raised central area, which helps prevent your pet from wolfing down their food as soon as you set it down. The stainless steel outer makes it easy to clean, without affecting the flavour of your pet's food. A detachable rubber ring on the underside offers excellent grip on laminate, wood or varnished floors to limit sliding. Even the most enthusiastic eaters won't be able to push the bowl around, making it much easier for your dog or cat to enjoy their meal.
- stainless steel construction makes it hygienic and easy to clean
- doesn't affect the flavour of your pet's food
- antiskid rubber base prevents your pet from pushing the bowl around while eating
- slows your pet's eating speed significantly
- a more relaxed eating experience can improve your pet's digestive health.
When to use it
Eating speedily is natural behaviour for dogs and cats - in the wild, they would have to eat their meals quickly to prevent competition claiming it. While this isn't much of a concern for your household pets, there are a number of potential health risks associated with this eating behaviour.
Gulping down food means your pet isn't chewing properly and that can lead to choking or stomach upset. Taking in large amounts of air, food or fluid at mealtimes can also cause excess swelling around the belly. In some larger breeds this could lead to gastric dilatation volvulus, or GDV. If you hear your dog or cat coughing a lot during mealtimes, try the Kokoba Antiskid Eat Slow Bowl, which can help them pace their food intake.
Make sure to ask your vet for advice about your pet's optimum eating habits.

BrialliantThese bowls have really helped to slow my cats down. Feeding them in separate rooms also helps as does splitting the meals into smaller portions but feeding more regularly.
Does what it says on the tinI was a bit dubious but it really works. Before her bowl used to end up miles away from where it started. And it's certainly helped slow down her wolfing of her food.
Feeder bowlThe bowl does its job, it slows down how quickly our dog eats her food. The only negative is that the non slip rubber keeps coming off the bowl.
