Product details

This James Wellbeloved adult cat lamb pouch is a hypoallergenic food which is ideal if your cat has a sensitive stomach.

If your cat has allergies or a sensitive stomach, then certain food groups, like proteins and carbohydrates, can sometimes cause them problems. The ingredients in this recipe are hypoallergenic, meaning they don't contain any of the common elements which can lead to allergic reactions.

Lamb replaces other protein sources, but is just as tasty for your cat, while potato and cassava is used instead of grains. These are much easier for your pet to digest, and the food contains everything most cats need for a balanced healthy diet.

Key features:

  • Meets all the nutritional needs of an adult cat
  • Carefully chosen protein source to reduce allergic reactions
  • Specially selected carbohydrate sources to reduce allergic reactions
  • Taste your cat will love
  • Easy for your pet to digest.

Just like humans, your pet can suffer from an allergic reaction when eating certain foods. Proteins and carbohydrates are normally the most troublesome, because they can be more difficult for your cat's system to digest. If this happens, their antibodies treat proteins or difficult to absorb foods as a threat. This is one of the causes of an allergic reaction.

Some signs your cat has a food allergy could include vomiting, loose stools, frequent coughing or sneezing, and inflamed skin. Cats can be very good at hiding illness however, so, if you think something might be wrong, always consult your vet first. If it is a food allergy, James Wellbeloved adult cat turkey pouch can often be a healthy alternative. Make sure to use it over three to eight weeks to help reduce any signs of allergy in your cat. If the symptoms have disappeared after this period, you can then generally continue to feed your pet it indefinitely.
