Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine J/D Reduced Calorie is a complete food tailored to help dogs with mobility issues.
How it works
Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine J/D Reduced Calorie contains EPA – an omega-3 fatty acid from fish oil that helps to reduce joint pain caused by mobility issues such as arthritis. Though you might not notice it, with daily rough and tumble your pet’s joints are in constant use. Dogs with mobility issues struggle to replace cartilage in the joints, which is worn down naturally with age and play.
Prescription Diet Canine J/D uses a blend of glucosamine and chondroitin to sooth aching joints and maintain healthy cartilage. This special combination also helps to combat destructive enzymes in the joints. If your dog is overweight it could be making their joint problems worse. Hill’s formula is designed specifically for dogs who are prone to putting on weight so is perfect as part of a calorie-controlled diet. With this clever blend of oils and nutrients you could notice a difference in your dog’s mobility in as little as 21 days.

When to use it
Mobility issues such as hip dysplasia and arthritis are the most common problems and require treatment to keep your pet moving happily and healthily. If you’ve noticed your dog is slower getting up or lying down, is having problems climbing stairs, is tiring more easily or showing signs of stiffness, it could be the sign of a mobility issue. Consult your vet for an examination and diagnosis straight away.

Hills Prescription reduced calories j/dMy 10 1/2 year old rottie has been on this for 9 years now topped up with seraquin is working well. His walks are short and sweet due to his arthritis but manageable since combining the 2 items. Highly recommend them both.

Hills prescription diet canine reduced calorieOur dear now 11 year old French mastiff has arthritis in her back legs and our vet recommended this food for her. Without this food I think Honeys mobility would be very restrictive and she would have to be on pain killers, and purchasing from pet supermarket has saved me on the cost and delivery is free, I definitely recommend.

J/D prescription diet for jointsbrilliant product,my dog has severe hip dysplasia and has been on this food at my vets recommendation for 6 years. I was told my dog would be virtually crippled by the age of 5. He is now 9 years old and still running about like a puppy which has to be down to the diet I think.
