Coatex Aloe and Oatmeal Dog & Cat Shampoo
Product details
Keep your dog’s or cat's coat shiny and silky soft with Coatex aloe & oatmeal shampoo.
How it works
Coatex aloe & oatmeal shampoo is made with a gentle formula that suits all skin types. It’s designed to match your pet's pH level and keep itchy, dry skin at bay. Packed full of omega-3 fatty acids, Coatex aloe & oatmeal shampoo bolsters supple skin and promotes a thick, shiny coat. There's not a drop of soap in the mix either, making it perfect for dogs or cats with sensitive skin.
When shampooing your pet, use room temperature water for comfort and gently massage the product into their fur and skin, lathering it to remove any debris and dead skin cells from your dog’s coat. Leave it for a couple of minutes and rinse thoroughly all over. Make sure your pet is completely dry around the ears and groin before you let them get away – this will help prevent any infection.

When to use it
There are lots of reasons why your pet’s coat might being looking and feeling a bit lacklustre. A fungal growth or bacterial buildup can lead to irritation, while allergic reactions can trigger nasty skin conditions that take a while to calm down. Frequent washing and grooming can help to combat many of these issues before they develop into something serious. When petting your cat or dog, look out for symptoms like excessive scratching, hair loss, flaky skin, red patches and a dull coat, as these all might be signs of a skin complaint. If you’re concerned, contact your vet for a treatment plan.

Highly recomendedCoatex shampoo for a very itchy 10 yr old Fox Terrier. This developed almost overnight and became a very anxious time. Her coat became oily and she'd be biting herself and pulling her coat out too. Along with some other meds, this shampoo has been very helpful, very effectively cleaning her coat and skin and helping relieve her problems. Highly recommended for dogs that have a naturally oily coat.

Lovely ShampooI have used this shampoo before as my dog has sensitive skin. My dog's coat is always in great condition after using it and she smells gorgeous. The bottle is dated well in advance and lasts for ages so well worth the money. I would highly recommend it.

LathertasticI’ve always used this on my miniture Schnauzer as it was recommended by the vet.It seems expensive but the lather is massive with only a small amount needed. The lovely smell lingers on the wind and you get wafts as the dog mooches about.Love it.

RecommendedI bought this as an alternative to Maleseb. I was dubious but it seems to suit my dog well - she has numerous allergies and, as she is a GSD, her fur is extremely dense. Would recommend

Great for sensitive dogsThis shampoo has worked wonders with my jack russell. My dog has sensitive skin and this is the only shampoo that has stopped him from itching / biting him self. We had even tried sensitive shampoo before using coatex and some of them had even made him worse. The shampoo has made his skin / fur really soft, even with his winter fur which usually comes through staw like is now soft.
