11-57kg = 1 tablet CAPSTAR 57mg
 57kg + = 2 tablets CAPSTAR 57mg

Vet's Advice:
How long do fleas live for?

The complete flea life cycle, from egg to larva to pupa to adult, normally takes about 15 days. However, under inhospitable conditions (e.g.; cold temperatures, or lack of a host) the pupa stage can become dormant. This dormant period can extend the flea's life cycle to over a year. When the pupa senses the vibrations, carbon dioxide, or warmth that tells it an animal host is near, it finishes developing into an adult and emerges from its cocoon.

  • Capstar flea treatment
I took in 2 abandoned cats that were covered in fleas. For quick relief before using a spot on treatment I gave them the pill crushed into some food as not to stress them trying to get them to eat the whole pill. Within 15 minutes the adult fleas were falling off the cats and they were dead or dying. They did scratch a lot more for the first 30 minutes or so as the fleas were dying but then nothing since. Cannot recommend enough.

  • fast and effective
I have 6 indoor cats, ranging from Siamese, serengetti half sphyx and 2 normal black cats, even though they are indoor cats, they go outside in a cat pen on nice days... so they have to wear a flea collar, if it has lost its effectiveness, as other cats and flea ridden wildlife have left fleas behind .... they can pick them up, the capstar pills are great, 1 pill each hidden / crushed in a little food, kills off fleas. within an hr no more scratching. HOWEVER SPRAY ALL BEDDING AND HOME , to stop re infestation, and its a good idea within days to put a collar on the cats, or another form of protection, as these pills remove the eggs and fleas without any side effects but does not protect from future infestation.
