Product details

Fibrecycle Breeder Celect 100% recycled paper litter is an all-natural, non-clumping cat litter made in the UK from recycled newspapers.

How it works

Breeder Celect developed the technology to transform old newspapers into ultra-absorbent products while collecting cardboard and paper for a mill. Their unique process currently has five patents, including fibre compression, conditioning and particle reduction. No chemicals or additives are used during the process and it's around 99% dust-free (ideal for keeping your home clean, or for pet owners who suffer from asthma).

As well as being completely natural, the pellets are highly absorbent and able to control odours. This litter is 100% biodegradable and can be recycled as compost after use. It's also lighter than competing products, making it easier to reduce your carbon paw print.

Key benefits

  • available in ten, 20, and 30-litre bags
  • natural odour control
  • no chemicals or additives
  • highly absorbent
  • all-natural and fully biodegradable
  • lightweight (easy to manoeuvre full bags around your home)
  • practically dust-free and won't mark your floors

When to use it

This product is great if you want to reduce your carbon footprint while ensuring your beloved cat has an absorbent, odour-neutralising litter to do their business in. As it's in the form of paper pellets, your pet can't track this litter across the floor. If they do kick it out, it won't leave a mark.

Pour two to four centimetres into your cat's litter tray. If they're reluctant to use it, sprinkle some of their old litter in. Slowly add more Fibrecycle Breeder Celect 100% recycled paper litter until there's none of the old stuff left. Remove your cat's waste regularly and give the pellets a stir to let in some air. Change the litter completely once a week. As this product is all-natural, you can use waste pellets as mulch in your garden.

  • Brilliant
At the moment I have indoor cats and this litter ifs perfect for them. They don't tread it in all over the floor after they've used the litter tray and there's no smell. Wouldn't use anything else.

An outstanding product, I use it for my 10 housecats - it's massively lighter than all other products, holds it shape and captures the odors.
