Excellent quality - no more dandruff!When my beautiful rescued black greyhound kept getting repeated bouts of runny poo, I decided to look at her food and improve its quality. She had been on Harringtons since we adopted her 18 months beforehand. I chose Barking Heads Bowl-Lickin' Chicken to start with. After 3 weeks, I noticed she had no dandruff and, on looking closely at her skin, there was not a flake in sight and her coat felt so soft - like she'd had a bath (which she never has). This change was solely down to giving her a quality food. I felt quite bad that I'd left her on an inferior product for so long. I've now introduced the turkey variety because her poos, whilst very much improved, usually ended being a bit dollopy. Straight away, when she'd only had 1/4 Turkey with 3/4 chicken, her poo improved and is now perfect - she is currently on 1/4 chicken and 3/4 turkey. All dogs are different, and I think the slightly lower protein content of the turkey variety may have been enough to firm her poo. I'd highly recommend this food. A bag feeds my dog for about 5 weeks, so that works out at about £10/week. We owe it to our dogs to feed them decent food.
