Product details

Arden Grange Partners dog food is a complete wet mix developed by nutritionists to give your pet the very best from every meal.

How it works
Arden Grange Partners dog food is a high-quality mix, perfect if your dog has a sensitivity to common ingredients. It's free from wheat, beef, soya and dairy products, all of which can trigger allergic reactions in some pets. It's rich in protein, with a lower water content than standard foods. Premium meats are used in this recipe, including fresh salmon and chicken, as well as Grade A lamb meal. It's packed with fresh vegetables too, with rosemary acting as a natural preservative instead of artificial ingredients.

The recipe is gentle on the stomach and easy to digest, so your dog is less likely to suffer from painful tummy aches and gets the most nutrition from every mouthful.

Key benefits

  • formulated for dogs aged nine months and older
  • lower water content than most wet foods
  • free from wheat, beef, soya and dairy
  • contains fresh vegetables and meat
  • suitable for pets recovering after an illness or operation
  • delicious flavour
  • easy to digest

When to use it
This nutritionally complete food should be fed to your dog twice a day, according to the guidelines on the pack. Remember, a tiny breed like a chihuahua will need less food than a massive bullmastiff.

The food can be enjoyed by any dog aged nine months or older, but is ideal for those who have shown symptoms of food intolerance. These include itchy and irritable skin, as well as runny stools and excessive flatulence. If your dog has been poorly, it's best to take them to the vet for a checkup. They'll probably recommend a sensitive food such as this one and will be able to investigate to find out if your pet has any other underlying health issues.

Feeding The Correct Amount

It is important to remember however that these figures are guidelines only, and there are several factors to be taken into account when assessing your pet's nutritional requirements : -

  1. Activity level
  2. Temperament (stressed animals burn off more calories than relaxed ones)
  3. Metabolism (every animal is an individual with his or her own speed of metabolism; this means that 2 dogs of the same age, breed and weight could have different daily calorie requirements)

In order to provide the correct portions when feeding your dog or cat, it is also helpful to assess your pet's appetite, visual appearance and stools. Whilst poo watching does not sound particularly pleasant, it is one of the best indicators of health. Increased frequency of passing faeces, production of large quantities of stools of loose motions are often frequent signs that an animal is receiving more food than he or she requires.

It is important to obtain an accurate weight for your cat or dog, and also to weigh out the food. Guessing on both accounts gives a large margin of error.

Changing Food Brands

For a successful diet change, we recommend following the feeding pattern below. The daily feeding amount should be split into two equal amounts and the proportions of new food increased over the first week as illustrated.

TOP TIPS: For those dogs who do not make eating a priority, here are some additional points:
- Reduce the number of tit-bits given during the introductory period
- If your dog has been used to eating wet food, moisten with warm water.

  • Arden Grange sensitive
Good product, works very well for my dogs sensitive digestion. One small point though consistency varies from batch to batch from firm to quite soft and watery; firm is much preferred.

  • Excellent food
Fussy poodle will gobble this down. I have a poodle allergic to all poultry, beef, potato, nuts, eggs so it is good to find a food he is okay with. I mix it in with his dry dog food and he loves it. He has also got a sensitive tummy and this is fine for him

  • Great value - staffies love it !
My staffy loves wet food, but lamb and rice is his favourite (at least at the moment !). This canned food comes crammed into the can, no air space in this product. Seems good quality and the dog loves it, his coat is shiny and he's a happy chap - great value.
