My 3 year old Lab has arthritis in both elbows. He has been on the Hills J/D for around 8 weeks now and is much better than he was. So much so that I've taken him off his anti-inflammatories (under vet supervision obviously). I feed a combination of the tinned and dry food as he gets bored with just dry. He enjoys a half tin of wet food with 82 grams of the dry twice each day. I've always had to keep a close eye on his weight but he is doing really well on this food and I think his muscle mass in his front legs has improved since feeding him J/D. The vet didn't think it was necessary to put him on the reduced calorie version as he is very active and is not overweight.

Mon labrador a un problème de cartilage depuis son jeune âge et il boitait. Le vétérinaire a conseillé ces croquettes et le résultat est merveilleux même si cela ne solutionne pas son problème.

Our dog (who will be 12 in April 2009) has arthritis in both her front feet and right elbow joint. Giving her this food means she is still able to run around and go for long walks which she really enjoys. Without this supplement rich food we would only be able to walk her for about 10-15mins twice a day instead of her minimum two hours a day. This food makes the difference
