Fleas on dogs are killed within one day following treatment with this product. One treatment prevents further flea infestation for up to four weeks. This product can be used as part of a treatment programme for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). This product has a persistent acaricidal and repellent effect for up to four weeks against Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinu, or three weeks for Dermacentor reticulatus (all types of ticks). One treatment provides repellent (anti-feeding) activity against sand flies (Phlebotomus papatasi) for two weeks and against mosquitoes for two (Aedes aegypti) or four (Culex pipiens) weeks, respectively.
