Capstar is indicated for the treatment of fleas on dogs and cats. Capstar works by removing fleas extremely quickly. Within 20 minutes, you should start seeing the fleas fall off your pet. For ongoing preventative treatment you could use Frontline Spot-On.

Capstar is popular amongst Rescue Organisations for the fast killing of fleas. Don't forget to buy a household spray such as Vet Kem Acclaim also.

Capstar tablets are administered orally at a minimum recommended dose of 1mg/kg with the following recommendations:

Dosage is based on weight of animal -
1 - 11kg = 1 tablet CAPSTAR 11.4mg
11 - 57kg = 1 tablet CAPSTAR 57mg
57kg + = 2 tablets CAPSTAR 57mg

Capstar tablets should be given orally either directly into the mouth or mixed into a small portion of food and given immediately. Administer on any day when fleas are seen on the animal. No more than one treatment should be given per day.
