For the nutritional management of dogs with dental disease. By the age of
three, your dog could begin showing the signs of dental disease. This painful
and potentially serious problem is most usually a result of plaque and tartar
build-up at and under the gum line.
Hills Prescription Diet Canine t/d
was formulated specifically for the nutritional management of dogs with dental
disease. Because your pet can’t brush his own teeth, the build-up of tartar can
lead to periodontal disease, a dental condition that can weaken the gums and
tissues that support the teeth.
Indications: - Gingivitis. - Dental
plaque, stain and tartar (calculus). - Oral malodour.
Not recommended
for: - Cats. - Puppies. - Pregnant or lactating bitches. - Dogs with
severe periodontal disease, without appropriate assessment and
treatment.
Additional information: - Clinically proven8 to reduce
gingivitis and the build-up of tartar, plaque and stain. - Canine t/d &
Canine t/d Mini are most effective when, used on clean teeth (following an
initial professional cleaning), fed as the sole maintenance food, fed dry
(adding water prevents effective cleaning). - Contain no mineral abrasives or
active chemicals. - Other dental home care methods are recommended, if
possible, e.g. regular tooth brushing. - Some dogs prefer to eat each piece
of Canine t/d away from their food bowl; owners should be reassured that this is
normal behaviour.
